The Sourcing Associate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and sourcing potential acquisition targets. This role involves market research, analyzing industry trends, maintaining relationships with owners/CEOs, investment banks, private equity firms, and other key stakeholders to help identify opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and evaluate potential merger and acquisition opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, and relationship-building efforts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business owners, entrepreneurs, intermediaries, and other deal sources to generate a consistent deal flow pipeline.
  • Collaborate with the corporate development team to understand strategic priorities and develop targeted outreach strategies to source actionable deal opportunities.
  • Track and manage deal pipeline activity, including maintaining databases, tracking interactions, and updating deal status reports.
  • Prepare and present deal sourcing updates and recommendations to the corporate development leads.
Desired Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in sales, corporate development, business development, or related M&A role with a proven track record of successfully sourcing new deals/customers.
  • Strong networking, relationship-building, and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with owners, intermediaries, and other deal sources.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driver environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software preferred.
The annual salary range for this role is $65,000-$85,000 with uncapped commission opportunity.
