Manager/Supervisor
Job Summary: 
This position provides day-to-day supervision for employees assigned to specific worksites ensuring efficient and quality work through coordination of daily assigned work tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review daily work tickets and schedule crews to achieve maximum work efficiency. 
• Assign work location and specific jobs as needed to work crews. 
• Pick up employees at Schuman office and drive to worksite via Company van. Return employees to Schuman office at end of work day. 
• Supervise work crews to ensure that full understanding of work crew on expectation of each job, that assignments are 
understand and completed efficiently and in accordance with expectations and that work is completed in accordance with the customers’ expectations.
• Look for ways to “up sell” through communicating products and services with clients at worksites and provide on-the-spot estimates.
• Network with individuals and contractors at worksites and other locations to discuss Schuman’s products and service in  an effort to increase revenue.
• Train employees through hands on demonstration and instruction as needed with new and current employees.
• Provide outstanding customer service while on each job site to ensure customer satisfaction, resolve issues as they arise. 
• Maintain van, tools and supplies to ensure that all are operating efficiently and safely. Replace and repair as needed.
• Inspect jobs pre and post completion and make adjustments as needed. 
• Solve issues on worksite as needed.
• Completion of paperwork such as work tickets, time sheets, etc. as needed
• Motivate and encourage employees to achieve maximum efficiently and to take pride on the job site in the job they are completing, the level of service they are providing and the attention to detail that is required.
• Provide coaching and development of staff including on-going training, team building and effective communication. Keep employees informed of new products, new techniques, changes, policies, procedures, etc.
• Respond timely to questions from employees and work to resolve employee issues in a timely, fair and equitable
manner in coordinating with the Division Manager. Seek appropriate office staff or owners as needed.
• Notify Division Manager of on-the-job accidents, employee issues, employee complaints, customer complaints and other related issues immediately. 
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, as defined by the Company’s insurance carrier, as well as full compliance with the company Vehicle Use Policy.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in other divisions as needed

QUALIFICATIONS and COMPETENCIES:
Skills and Abilities

Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively. High level of attention to detail in achieving the cleaning standards of Schuman’s Cleaning Service. Effective people and project management skills. Effective oral communication skills using the English language. Basic speaking knowledge of other languages may be useful. Ability to maintain a professional, engaging and pleasant demeanor. Proven ability to troubleshoot, analyze problems and 
provide solutions in timely and effective manner. Must be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and resolving problems.

Education and Experience:
High School Graduate required. 1 – 3 years’ experience working with a cleaning company or performing similar job duties. Prior experience managing a small group of individuals directing workflow and operations preferred.

Physical Demands, Work Conditions and Environment:
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis. 
• Occasional-to-regular exposure to outdoor elements.
• Working at different worksites daily and occasionally several worksites throughout the same day.
• Non office type work environment which may expose employee to noise, dust, cleaning chemicals and other 
elements which are continuously present.
• Standing and moving for 8 plus hours a day.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and climb ladders and other activities requiring full range of motion.
• May sit and view a computer screen for long periods of time.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the 
successful completion of a background investigation, including but not limited to: Driving Record, Criminal 
Background, Reference Check, Credit Check, etc.
• Must have access to a reliable motor vehicle on a regular basis.
• Must have a valid MD driver’s license and a clean driving record and must be insurable by the Company’s insurance carrier.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug and alcohol screening.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to execute an Employment Agreement which requires, among other things, post-employment 
obligations relating to non-solicitation and confidentially disclosure.
