Talus Group Holdings LLC (“The Company” or “Talus”) is a private investment firm that provides early-stage capital to operators looking to buy, build, and grow platform companies in the US market. The Operator will serve as the Chief Executive Officer of a Talus Platform Company, with full accountability for the business strategy, performance, and growth. The Operator role combines visionary leadership with hands-on operational execution while driving day-to-day results and pursuing an active acquisition strategy to expand the Platform's scale and capabilities.

Principal Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Lead all aspects of the Business, including strategy, financial performance, team development, and operational execution.
- Develop and communicate a clear strategic vision for the Platform, aligned with Talus Holdings' long-term investment objectives.
- Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities, working in close collaboration with the Talus Holdings team throughout the full transaction lifecycle.
- Drive post-acquisition integration efforts to ensure acquired businesses are effectively consolidated into the platform.
- Manage relationships with sellers, bankers, brokers, attorneys, lenders, and other third-party partners throughout the process.
- Establish the systems, processes, and culture necessary to scale the business efficiently and sustainably.
- Drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and long-term value creation across the platform.
- Build and develop a high-performing leadership team over time, establishing the internal capabilities needed to support a growing, multi-site business.
- Cultivate a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary external representative of the business with customers, partners, acquisition targets, lenders, and other key stakeholders.
- Prepare board and investor materials related to total business operations and financial performance.
Desired Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field required
- MBA or equivalent experience preferred
- Backgrounds in private equity, management consulting, investment banking, or senior operations roles are particularly compelling, especially candidates who have made the transition from principal or advisory roles into operating leadership
- Proven track record of operational leadership with direct accountability for business outcomes such as revenue, profitability, team performance, and growth
- Familiarity with M&A processes, including deal evaluation, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration; prior deal experience is a strong plus
- Strong financial and analytical acumen, with the ability to quickly assess a business and translate insight into action
- Entrepreneurial mindset that thrives in a build environment, comfortable making decisions with imperfect information, and energized by the challenge of scaling something new
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to earn the trust of employees, customers, and partners quickly
- Collaborative by nature, with the ability to work effectively alongside an engaged ownership team and external advisors in the early stages of building the platform
